Undergraduate Admissions

The school offers three undergraduate degree programs: Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH); Bachelor of Science in Health Education with a concentration in Allied Health and Bachelor of Science in Health Education with a concentration in Community Health. Three minors are also available for those who are interested in enhancing their degrees with a better understanding of health issues.

Estela Lopez is the first in her family to attend college and hopes to return home to the Rio Grande Valley to improve the health of those who have supported her throughout her life.

Master’s and doctoral programs are offered in the public health disciplines of epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, occupational health, occupational safety and health, health administration, policy and management, and health behavior.
