International Applicants

Texas A&M University School of Public Health welcomes international students to apply!

All international applicants to our graduate-level degrees must take the following steps to be considered for admission:

Foreign Coursework & Transcript Evaluations

Applicants with coursework from institutions outside of the U.S. and English-speaking Canada must submit international academic credentials to World Education Services (WES) for a course-by-course (ICAP) evaluation and U.S. equivalency determination. Applicants should submit the WES evaluation directly to the SOPHAS or HAMPCAS. Follow the instructions for routing provided by WES.

English Language Proficiency Requirement

Official English language proficiency (ELP) test scores are required for  most international applicants. Citizens of certain English-speaking countries are exempt from this requirement. Refer to the list on the  TAMU Office of Admissions website.

If an applicant’s country of citizenship is not on the exempted list of countries, the applicant is required to submit official scores that meet the minimum ELP requirement or meet the Alternative Verification criteria for the School of Public Health.
