Maternal and Child Health Certificate

About the program

The Texas A&M School of Public Health offers a Maternal and Child Health (MCH) certificate to increase MCH competencies to graduate-level students. This is an interdisciplinary certificate that partners with departments across the School of Public Health.

This program is open to any graduate student in good standing (3.0 GPA or higher) at Texas A&M University, as well as any applicant with a bachelor's degree from an accredited university who is a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident. Current enrollment at Texas A&M is not a requirement. If you are not a current Texas A&M student, you will be required to complete the SOPHAS Express application for admission. More information to follow.

Current TAMU students are encouraged to apply to the certificate program as early as possible in their degree program. Applications should be submitted at least one semester prior to graduation. Students need to meet with their primary advisor in order to add certificate programs to the student’s curriculum record.

If you are not currently enrolled at Texas A&M, the deadlines are as follows:

Spring Admission: Nov. 15

Fall Admission: July 1

How to Apply

All applicants are required to submit the following documents. If you are not a currently enrolled Texas A&M student, additional information on the application process will be sent to you after the initial application review has been completed.
