Isabella Patino has a background in public health focusing on epidemiology and health behavior. Much of Isabella’s teaching experience has focused on course development and improvement to focus on students’ comprehension, retention and skill development. Dr. Patino enjoys integrating critical thinking and application-based learning in all her courses. Dr. Patino consistently partners with the community to bring service outreach and learning opportunities to expand public health practice opportunities. Her research interests include Maternal and Child Health, Mental Health, Health Disparities, Healthcare Access, and Community Capacity Building.
