1  May be taken in the fall or spring.

2  Maximum of 4 electives, must be approved by advisor in advance.

3  Offered every semester; requires completion of MPH Core coursework (SOPH 601, 602, 603).

4  Requires completion of practicum prior to start of course; only offered in the spring.

5  Maximum of 2 electives, must be approved by advisor in advance.

6 Able to be taken in the first spring semester.

7 Course is only offered in the spring.

8 Course is only offered in the fall.

9 Epidemiology or other SPH departments may be taken to fulfill Elective requirement. For course outside SPH, students should email academic advising at sph-gradadvising@tamu.edu.

11Practicum and Capstone can be either concurrent or subsequent. Capstone is only offered in the Spring Semester.

13Students can register for PHEP 684 practicum in any semester after they complete the required courses: PHEB 605, PHEB 602, PHEB 603 and PHEB 612.

Elective Options: Courses from EPI or other SPH departments may be taken. For courses outside SPH, please get approval from your departmental coordinator.
